With its experience and expertise, YASE Technology combines two technologies to provide ultra-fast internet service on high-speed trains.
It is a fast handover technology that seamlessly transfers Wi-Fi transmission from one base station to another; there is no delay or disconnection such as when a video freezes or a mobile phone call is disconnected when switching between service towers. It successfully demonstrated data service up to 500 Mbps in 2016 and then 1.25 Gbps in 2017. This Technology has been used simultaneously by up to 550 users via Wi-Fi in a running metro train. YASE Technology is currently collaborating with other institutes to develop an advanced mobile hotspot network (MHN-E) to provide service up to 10Gbps.
